What animals can I manage?
BlockCare supports the mix of animals commonly kept on lifestyle blocks, including livestock, horses, dogs, cats, rabbits and guinea pigs.
Can another person help manage the property?
Yes. BlockCare supports shared property access so the people helping with animal care can work from the same records.
What happens if I reach the Free plan limit?
Free includes one property and up to five active animals. Your existing animal records, health history and reminders stay safe and readable. You can archive animals that are no longer active, or register your interest in BlockCare Plus for unlimited active animals. Nothing is deleted.
What happens to my records after the beta?
Your animals, care history, reminders and paddock records stay in place if you choose to continue with BlockCare after the free beta. During beta, keep your own copies of any critical records too.
Does BlockCare replace NAIT?
No. For cattle and deer, BlockCare can store the NAIT ID, movement notes and related care history in one place. You must still complete required animal registrations and movement declarations in the official NAIT system. Saving a record in BlockCare does not submit, verify, register or declare it with NAIT.
Does BlockCare replace veterinary advice?
No. BlockCare helps you organise care records and reminders; it does not replace professional veterinary advice.
